I help women see themselves the way I see them: beautiful, sensual, and powerfully confident.
I fell in love with photography at nine years old, when I snuck my mom’s Pentax SLR and taught myself how to use it. She had no idea how. I figured it out on my own. Through that camera, I learned how to really look at people: to capture not just their faces, but the light in their eyes, the way they move, the truth of who they are. That passion never left me, even when life took me elsewhere.
For over a decade, I traded my camera for scrubs as a nurse, building a career and raising my son. But there was always this quiet pull, a knowing that I needed to find my way back to what set my soul on fire.
When I discovered boudoir photography, everything clicked. This isn’t just about creating beautiful images (though we definitely do that). It’s about witnessing the moment a woman realizes her own power. I get to help my clients feel sexy, confident, and seen, exactly as they are. That’s the magic of this work.

Client Testimonials
Rya is amazing! She is so talented and makes you feel comfortable right away. Its like hanging out with your sister/best friend. She guides you through all the poses. I got a sneak peek on some of the pictures through her camera and they look amazing. I cannot wait to see the final pictures and shoot with her again. ~Gina C.
I recently had my first boudoir photography experience, and the entire process has been incredible! It started with explaining my (limited) ideas and using the photo gallery from the website and Pinterest as tools, and turned into a super fun, sexy, dream of an experience! We did a video chat to discuss details and ideas for different outfit ideas and accessories from the Client Closet. Rya is an excellent photographer and the day of my appointment I immediately felt comfortable, and Rya made me feel confident and sexy through each outfit change and the different poses. It felt like she took hundreds of pictures, and when it came time to decide which were my favorite, it was almost impossible! The options for different ways to display the stunning artwork that Rya created were perfect. There wasn’t too much to make it overwhelming, but definitely something for everyone. Overall, I would recommend the entire experience of a boudoir photography session, but more specifically, a session with Rya, of Shamelessly Sexy Boudoir Photography! She was friendly, helpful, professional, and so fun to work with! ~Dolly B.
